    Air fryer is my favorite kitchen gadget to make various roasted crispy vegetables. All these air fried , low calorie , low oil vegetables taste so awesome and have the perfect texture , I couldn't be happier! It makes the best Non fried healthy food that the whole family will love.

    This 4 ingredient 10 minutes Air Fryer Broccoli makes awesome snack or side dish that even kids love it. Compare to roasting in the oven, you save time. Compare to pan frying on stove top you save on efforts. It is a win-win !

    Delicious Broccoli Recipe

    Broccoli is the quintessential healthy vegetable. It is full of fiber, protein, vitamin C, vitamin K iron, and potassium. It is shown to help in in lowering the blood cholesterol as well. We also love our Broccoli Asparagus Soup  and Broccoli Cheddar Soup recipes.

    Healthy and delicious isn’t always easy. Air fryer roasted broccoli is an amazing side dish that takes the work out of making delicious broccoli.

    Crisp, crunchy and oh-so delicious - the perfect side dish for any meal. Easy to make and only 10 minutes of prep time!

    Cooking broccoli in your air fryer could not be easier. This is a quick alternative to boiling or oven roasting. And the results are simply AMAZING !

    Can I use frozen broccoli?

    Yes, frozen broccoli works very well. Do not thaw it before cooking. Season it the same way and use 5 extra minutes of air frying time. 

    Making non breaded but crispy dry roasted veggies in Air Fryer is a game changer ! It is my favorite way to eat my vegetables.

    And hubby and kids are on board for this broccoli recipe. So you can call it a family friendly air fryer recipe.

    Serving Suggestions

    We use this air fryer broccoli in multiple ways. I love it as a side dish for soups like Creamy Tomato Soup, Cream of Mushroom Soup or Creamy Potato Soup for comfort food dinner.

    You can also make a lovely SNACK with it. Serve it with dipping sauce like Greek Tzatziki or Avocado Cilantro Lime Dressing.

    These crispy broccoli wings can also be served in a buddha bowl like a salad for a nourishing light lunch.

    Just like Buffalo Cauliflower Wings and Bang Bang Cauliflower Nuggets you can serve this Crispy Broccoli as a starter or appetizer.

    Kid Friendly Broccoli Recipe

    Broccoli is considered SUPERFOOD. It belongs to the cruciferous vegetable family like kale, Cauliflower, chard etc. Cruciferous vegetables are loaded with a great deal of beneficial nutritional elements. So use it often and enjoy eating it.

    Many folks including kids do not like to eat broccoli. Steamed broccoli can have an unappealing mushy bland texture. Serve them this crisp broccoli with delicious seasoning and I am sure, they will love it too.

    Crisp and golden outside, bright green and tender inside. This Air Fryer Roasted Broccoli recipe transports broccoli from good to great!

    Ingredients

    Broccoli Florets, Oil or oil spray and Salt and black pepper are the main ingredients. You can use optional additional seasoning of your choice. I prefer mix of onion and garlic powder, red chili flakes and fresh lemon juice.

    You can use other seasonings like balsamic vinegar, soy sauce, chili garlic sauce, Italian Seasoning mix, Herb seasoning , roasted sesame seeds etc.

    How to make Air Fryer Roast Broccoli ?

    In a mixing bowl, drizzle broccoli florets with oil. I prefer olive oil or avocado oil. You can also use few mists of oil spray instead. For WFPB cooking, use 1 tablespoon of water or vegetable broth instead.

    Sprinkle salt, pepper and seasoning. Toss it well so the florets are well coated.

    Spread out broccoli in a single layer on your air fryer cooking sheet or basket. Do not over crowd them. You may have to cook in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.

    Air fry for 10 minutes at 380° Fahrenheit. Open the lid and gently shake the basket half way through.

    Broccoli is ready when it looks wrinkled and lightly browned. Remove from the air fryer.

    Air Fried Roasted broccoli is ready! Transfer to a bowl and sprinkle additional garnishes and lemon juice over. Enjoy!

    Pro Tips to make the best air fryer broccoli florets

    • Cut the broccoli florets into even-sized pieces so they cook evenly.
    • If you plan to use liquid seasoning, add it after it's roasted.
    • Do not overcrowd the florets in the air fryer basket. Spread the broccoli in a single layer and cook in batches if needed.
    • Air fried vegetables taste their best when served immediately after making.
    • Use 10 minutes for slightly browned crisp but tender broccoli. Add 1-2 minutes to the roasting time if you like browned and crispier broccoli.

    How to make Oven Roasted Broccoli ?

    Even if these recipes are marked as air fryer recipes, you can very much make them in a regular oven. Raise the temperature by 20 °Fahrenheit and add roughly 10-12 extra minutes. You also should preheat the oven while preparing the ingredients.

    Preheat the oven to 400° Fahrenheit. Arrange the seasoned broccoli florets in a single layer on baking sheet. Bake for about 15-20 minutes. Stir halfway for even cooking. Serve warm.

    Storage and Reheating

    Air fried broccoli tastes best when served right after making. You can however store the leftovers in the refrigerator in an airtight container for 3-4 days.

    To reheat, place broccoli into the air fryer basket and cook for 2-4 minutes at 350° Fahrenheit, until heated through. You can also microwave it in 30 second intervals in a minute.
