- Safe to eat raw (unlike traditional flour)
- Adds a subtle sweet, nutty flavor
- Creates a smooth, melt-in-your-mouth texture
Ingredients
Exact measurements are listed in the recipe card below. Here's what we use and what to substitute. Most likely you have all these ingredients in your pantry.

- Almond Flour : I am using blanched almond flour. (Love buying that big Costco Bag) Almond flour also is low carb, keto friendly and grain free flour. You can also use Almond Meal.
- Coconut Sugar : Adds nice sweet notes to the dough. You can use other sweeteners like monk fruit or maple syrup.
- Chocolate Chips : I am using dark mini chocolate chips. Feel free to use semi sweet, butterscotch or white chocolate chips if you like. You can also add instant coffee, cocoa powder or M&M in this edible cookie dough recipe.
- Coconut Oil : Coconut oil helps form the smooth dough. Make sure to use melted coconut oil for easier kneading. If you do not like flavor of coconut oil, avocado oil also works.
- Vanilla Extract : For that gourmet decadent dessert flavor. Optional but highly recommend.
- Sea Salt : pinch of salt brings all flavors in and adds a nice salty surprise taste. Don't skip it.

💡Note - If you notice the dough is too crumbly and not forming well, add 1-2 tablespoons of almond milk or water while kneading.
Scoop it out using about 1.5 tablespoons each and make round balls or use small cookie scoop. Arrange the balls on parchment lined baking sheet.
