Ingredients :
- Bread: I prefer to use whole grain slice of bread to amp up the wholesomeness. You can use whichever bread you have easily available. Whole wheat bread works well too.
- Peanut Butter – I prefer creamy variety.
- Banana – Ripe banana is the best option. Cut thin slices.
- Fruit Jam or Jelly : Your favorite fruit preserve like strawberry jam, raspberry or blueberry jelly
- Butter – Use plant based for vegan option.
Instructions
- Spread the peanut butter onto the slice of bread.
- Spread the fruit jelly onto the remaining slice of bread.
- Place banana slices on top of the bread with peanut butter.
- Put the bread with jelly spread on the top and press down so it sticks to the bottom bread.
- Spread some butter on the outer sides of the sandwich.
Air Fryer Option : Air fry at 350 °Fahrenheit for 5 minutes. Check for doneness. Add extra 2 minutes if needed. Outer sides of the bread should be golden brown toast.
Stove Top Grill Sandwiches : Warm up the griddle, grill pan or normal pan on medium high heat. Place the sandwich on the griddle. Toast on both sides until golden brown.
Remove promptly. Cut diagonally to make triangular sandwiches. Serve immediately and enjoy !

Banana Peanut Butter Sandwich in Air Fryer
Ingredients
- 1 Medium Banana – cut into round slices
- 4 Pieces of bread – I used whole grain variety
- 2 Tablespoon Peanut Butter
- 2 Tablespoon Fruit jam/ jelly or preserve
- 1 teaspoon butter melted – use plant based for vegan option
Instructions
Prepare the Sandwich
- Spread the peanut butter onto two bread slices.
- Spread the fruit jelly onto the rest of the two bread slices.
- Spread the cut up banana slices on top of the bread with peanut butter.
- Put the bread with jelly spread on the top and press down so it sticks to the bottom bread.
- Spread some butter on the outer sides of the sandwich.
Air Fryer Option
- Air fry at 350 °Fahrenheit for 5 minutes. Check for doneness. Add extra 2 minutes if needed. Outer sides of the bread should be golden brown toast.
