- Potatoes -I used Yukon Gold medium sized potatoes
- Oil : Olive oil or Avocado oil works great. You ca also use Oil Spray.
- Salt
- Ground black pepper
- Garlic powder or Seasoning Salt mix
- Smoked paprika – Optional but highly recommend
Substitutes
- Seasoning : You can use variety of different seasoning or spice mixes to flavor these breakfast potato cubes. Ranch seasoning, Jerk Seasoning , Cajun seasoning, Italian seasoning or Taco Seasoning are great choices.
- Vegetables : Along with cubed potatoes, you can use cut red or green bell peppers, onions and mushrooms in this recipe. You can also use this recipe to make breakfast sweet potatoes.
How to Make
- Peel and cut the potatoes into 1-inch cubes. Add them in cold water until ready to use.
- Preheat the air fryer for 2 minutes at 400 degree Fahrenheit.
- Remove potatoes from water and pat them dry on a paper towel. Toss the potatoes with seasoning and oil until thoroughly coated.
- Add the potatoes to the air fryer basket and cook for about 15 minutes.
- Halfway through cooking, open the air-fryer and shake the basket a few times to ensure even crisping.
