Ingredients

  • 4 medium potatoes Yukon Gold preferred
  • 1 Tablespoon olive oil

Seasoning

Instructions

  • Peel and cut the potatoes into 1-inch cubes. Add them in cold water until ready to use.
  • Preheat the air fryer for 2 minutes at 400 degree Fahrenheit.
  • Remove potatoes from water and pat them dry on a paper towel. Toss the potatoes with seasoning and oil until thoroughly coated.
  • Add the potatoes to the air fryer basket and cook for about 15 minutes.
  • Halfway through cooking, open the air-fryer and shake the basket a few times to ensure even crisping.
  • Once the potatoes are crispy and golden brown, remove the basket. Transfer to a plate and serve warm. Enjoy !

Notes

  1. Cut the potatoes all the same size, this will ensure that all potatoes are evenly cooked and browned.
  2. Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket. A proper hot air circulation is important to ensure even cooking and crisping. You may need to work in batches.
  3. I prefer to soak the potatoes in water before air frying. It removes the excess starch and makes them super crispy.
  4. Preheating the air fryer speeds up the browning process and cooking time.
