    Since cottage cheese is naturally salty, I do not add additional salt in this recipe. You can taste it and adjust per your preference.

    How To Make

    Place the cottage cheese, minced garlic and lemon juice in a food processor and whip until smooth, about 1 minute, scraping down the bowl once. Add freshly ground black pepper and mix well.

    • 1 cup cottage cheese I prefer full fat
    • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
    • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
    • ⅛ teaspoon black pepper

    Optional Ingredients

    • 1 Tablespoon olive oil for drizzle on top as garnish
    • 1 teaspoon chopped herbs likes chives, parsley or basil for garnish

    Instructions
     

    • Place the cottage cheese, minced garlic and lemon juice in a food processor and whip until smooth, about 1 minute, scraping down the bowl once. Add freshly ground black pepper and mix well.

    Notes

    Transfer leftovers into an airtight container. This will prevent the dip from drying out or absorbing unwanted odors from the refrigerator. When stored in the refrigerator, the dip can maintain its freshness for up to five days. Before each use, give it a quick stir to regain its smooth consistency.
