Ingredients
- Apple Cider Vinegar : I highly recommend you use organic " unfiltered apple cider vinegar with the Mother " like Bragg’s. Apple Cider Vinegar is a healthy fermented vinegar with natural probiotics, enzymes and healthy bacteria. It also believed to help in lowering blood sugar levels , there by beneficial with diabetes.
- Lemon Juice : Fresh lemon juice is full of vitamin C. It adds refreshing taste to this drink. It helps balance the acidity of the drink.
- Maple Syrup : Raw ACV has very strong acidic and pungent taste. To make it easier on palate to drink, adding a sweetener like splash of maple syrup helps. It sweetness the drink with natural sugar. If you want to avoid sugar, use liquid stevia instead. Raw honey also is good to use.
- Water : I prefer to use slightly warm water to make this drink. You can also use cold water.
- Optional Additions : You can also add ground cinnamon, ginger or cayenne pepper for flavors and taste. Fresh sprig of mint or rosemary is also wonderful.
Instructions
In a glass, add water.
Add raw, unfiltered apple cider vinegar and lemon juice to the glass. Stir well. You may see the water looking slightly cloudy, which is ok. Those are ACV unfiltered elements.
Add maple syrup and mix well so that everything is well incorporated.
Garnish with fresh herbs and drink it up ! I prefer to make this drink fresh and drink as soon as you make it.

- 1 Tablespoon Apple Cider vinegar I recommend using raw, unfiltered apple cider vinegar with the mother
- 1 Tablespoon lemon juice freshly pressed from about ½of a lemon
- 1 teaspoon maple syrup or liquid stevia
- 1 cup (8 oz.) water either room temperature water or warm water
