Whipped Cottage Cheese

Whipped Cottage Cheese Dip is creamy, tangy, and oh-so-delicious! This guilt-free dip is made with protein-rich cottage cheese, infused with garlic and a touch of zesty lemon juice.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cottage cheese I prefer full fat
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • teaspoon black pepper

Optional Ingredients

  • 1 Tablespoon olive oil for drizzle on top as garnish
  • 1 teaspoon chopped herbs likes chives, parsley or basil for garnish

Instructions

  • Place the cottage cheese, minced garlic and lemon juice in a food processor and whip until smooth, about 1 minute, scraping down the bowl once. Add freshly ground black pepper and mix well.
  • Transfer it to serving bowl. Drizzle some olive oil on top ( optional but highly recommended ). Serve with colorful vegetables and whole-grain pita for snack or an appetizer.

Notes

Transfer leftovers into an airtight container. This will prevent the dip from drying out or absorbing unwanted odors from the refrigerator. When stored in the refrigerator, the dip can maintain its freshness for up to five days. Before each use, give it a quick stir to regain its smooth consistency.
