- When working with the crescent roll dough, handle it gently and avoid over-kneading. This preserves the flaky texture, ensuring a light and airy bite in the finished Cinnamon Crescent Rolls.
- Bring ingredients like butter and dough to room temperature before starting. This is very important and brings out the best results. It will give you professional baking outcome.
Storage
Place leftovers in an airtight container or wrap them tightly with plastic wrap to prevent drying out. Stored in the refrigerator, they can last for up to 5 days.
Freezer: You can freeze unbaked or baked crescent rolls for up-to 3 months. For unbaked rolls, arrange them on a baking sheet and freeze until solid. Then transfer them to a freezer-safe bag or container.
For baked rolls, let them cool completely before freezing. Wrap each roll individually in plastic wrap and then place them in a freezer bag. When ready to bake, allow them to thaw in the refrigerator overnight before baking as usual.
Reheating: For best results, reheat in the preheated oven at 300°F for 3-5 minutes or until warm.
