Prepare: Thaw the puff pastry per package instructions. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Prepare the Apples: Core the apples and slice them thinly, keeping the peel for color. In a bowl, toss the apple slices with lemon juice to prevent browning. Dust some powdered sugar on them.
Prepare the Puff Pastry: Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface to smooth out any creases. Using a pizza cutter, cut the pastry into strips, approximately 2 inches wide. Sprinkle some sugar and and ground cinnamon over the stripes for added sweetness and flavor.
Make the Rose shaped puff pastry rolls : Place the apple slices along one edge of each pastry strip, slightly overlapping them. Fold the bottom half of the pastry over the apples. Roll the pastry strip into a spiral, creating the appearance of a rose. Seal the end of the strip to prevent it from unraveling. Place the apple roses in a muffin tin or on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush the tops of the roses with the melted butter.
Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the pastry is golden brown and the apples are tender.
Serve: While the pastries are still warm, sprinkle them with a mixture of powdered sugar and ground cinnamon for added flavor. Allow the Apple Rose Puff Pastries to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy !
