- 4 cups broccoli florets
- 1 Tablespoon Oil or oil spray use vegetable broth or water for WFPB cooking
Optional Garnishes
- Fresh herbs like rosemary or parsley
- Fresh lemon juice and lemon wedges
- Red pepper flakes
In a mixing bowl, drizzle broccoli florets with oil. I prefer olive oil or avocado oil. You can also use few mists of oil spray instead. For WFPB cooking, use 1 tablespoon of water or vegetable broth.
Sprinkle salt, pepper and seasoning. Toss it well so the florets are well coated.
Spread out broccoli in a single layer on your air fryer cooking sheet or basket. Do not over crowd them. You may have to cook in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
Air fry for 10 minutes at 380° Fahrenheit. Open the lid and gently shake the basket half way through.
Broccoli is ready when it looks wrinkled and lightly browned. Remove from the air fryer.
Air Fried Roasted broccoli is ready! Transfer to a bowl and sprinkle additional garnishes and lemon juice over. Enjoy!
Can I use frozen broccoli?
Yes, frozen broccoli works very well. Do not thaw it before cooking. Season it the same way and use 5 extra minutes of air frying time.
