Red Cabbage in Air Fryer

Air fryer red cabbage is tender yet crispy on the edges with sweet caramelized taste. This roasted red cabbage makes excellent low carb side dish.

  • 1 head purple or red cabbage roughly sliced
  • 1 Tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and Pepper per taste

Instructions

  • Pour a ¼ cup of water under the air fryer basket or drip tray. Then preheat the air fryer at 360 degree Fahrenheit. ( about 3 minutes)
  • Slice your red cabbage and place it in a large mixing bowl. Add olive oil, salt, and pepper to the bowl and toss until the cabbage is evenly coated.
  • Place the cabbage in the air fryer basket. Brush more olive oil on top or use spray. Air fry at 360 degree Fahrenheit for 10-15 minutes, or until it’s crispy and tender. Halfway through, toss the cabbage for even roasting on both sides.
  • Serve warm and Enjoy!

Notes

Make sure to slice the cabbage evenly to ensure even cooking.
Don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket. If necessary, cook the cabbage in batches.
Experiment with different seasonings and spices to customize the flavor of your cabbage.
You can add other vegetables to the mix, like carrots, onions, or peppers.
