For Garnishes and Serving
- 2 cup ice cubes
- Lemon slices for garnish
- Fresh mint sprigs for garnish
- 1 teaspoon chili lime seasoning for rimming the glasses
Start by filling a pitcher with ice. Add the guava nectar, freshly squeezed lemon juice, and chaat masala. Stir well so the seasoning is evenly distributed.
Lightly clap or rub the mint leaves between your palms. This helps release their aroma without completely crushing them. Add them in.
Top with chilled sparkling water. Give the drink one gentle stir. Avoid stirring too vigorously because you want to keep as much carbonation as possible.
Taste and adjust if needed. Add another squeeze of lemon for more brightness or a tiny pinch of chaat masala for a stronger Indian flavor.
How to rim the glass: Run a lemon wedge around the outer edge of each glass. Pour the chili-lime seasoning onto a small plate. Dip the rim into the seasoning and gently twist until coated.
Fill the glass with ice, then pour the guava mocktail. Serve immediately. Cheers!
Adjust chaat masala according to the brand and your taste.
For a sweeter drink, use a sweeter guava nectar.
For a tangier drink, add another squeeze of fresh lemon.
Add sparkling water just before serving for the best fizz.
To make a party pitcher, multiply the ingredients and add sparkling water just before serving.
Use Chilled Guava Nectar so the drink tastes ice cold and refreshing.
