  • 2 cups Milk Powder Non fat dry
  • 1 can 14 oz Condensed milk
  • 1 stick 4 ozButter
  • 2 Tablespoons Gulkand Rose Petal Sugar jam


  1. * Take a big microwave safe bowl, add butter and melt it in the microwave for 1 minute.
  2. * Now add milk powder, condensed milk and cardamom powder. I have used non fat dry milk powder. Mix well to make sure there are no lumps.
  3. * Microwave it for a minute.
  4. * After 1 minute, take it out and mix it well.
  5. * Microwave it for 2 more minutes ,stirring in between.
  6. * After microwaving for 3 minutes ,the mixture will be non sticky.
  7. * Let it cool it for 5 minutes or until the mixture is able to handle.
  8. * Add Gulkand ( you can get it in any ethnic or Indian Store).. Its a rose petal sugar jam
  9. * Grease your hands with some melted butter.
  10. * Divide the mixture into equal sized flattened balls . The pedhas should be smooth without any cracks.
  11. * Using the fork, gently press the top to make stripe decorations.
  12. * Garnish each with rose petal on the top !
  13. * Cool the pedhas and enjoy !
