Garlic Toast in Air Fryer

Garlic Cheese Toast with rich homemade garlic butter and topped with melty chees and red pepper. This quick and easy air fryer cheese garlic toast makes an awesome snack, appetizer or the perfect side for just about any meal!

  • 4 slices bread I used wholegrain white bread
  • 2 Tablespoon Butter melted or at room temperature
  • 1 Tablespoon garlic minced
  • ¼ cup shredded cheese mozzarella, Colby jack, parmesan or pepper jack preferred

Optional Toppings

  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes, black pepper
  • 1 Tablespoon fresh or dried herbs like cilantro, basil or parsley


  • In a mixing bowl, combine soft butter, minced garlic and herbs if using.
  • Arrange bread slices in a single layer on the air fryer basket.
  • Slather the bread slices with butter garlic mixture with butter knife or back of spoon.
  • Spread shredded cheese on top.
  • Sprinkle chili flakes and other seasonings as per your liking.
  • Air Fry at 350 degree Fahrenheit for 10 minutes or until toast is golden brown and crispy and the cheese is melted.
  • Remove promptly. Cut into your desired sizes and serve warm. Enjoy !


If you want to make this recipe in the oven
Bake prepared cheese garlic bread slices at 350 degree Fahrenheit  in preheated oven for 12 minutes until toast is crispy and cheese is melted.
If you want to make this recipe on the Stove Top
Warm up the griddle, grill pan or skillet on medium high heat. Place the toasts on the griddle. Toast till toast is crunchy and cheese is gooey.
